How we work

Six stages, the same on every project. Each ends with a document or release you can check before the next begins.

  1. Discover

    We meet the people involved, learn how the work happens today and agree what success looks like.

    You receive: Discovery notes and agreed objectives

  2. Specify

    Requirements are written, reviewed with you and signed off. Each one gets an acceptance criterion.

  3. Design

    We design the data, architecture and screens, and test prototypes with real users.

    You receive: Design document and prototype

  4. Build

    Development runs in short cycles. You see working software every two weeks, not only at the end.

    You receive: Working releases and progress reports

  5. Test

    Independent testers check every requirement, then your users run acceptance testing.

    You receive: Test summary report and sign-off

  6. Support

    We deploy, train your staff and support the system. Feedback from support starts the next round of discovery.

    You receive: Handover pack and support agreement

  • One named contact who answers for the whole project
  • A written weekly status report: done, next, risks and decisions needed
  • A demonstration at the end of every build cycle
  • Shared access to the task board, defect log and documents
  • Change requests priced and approved before work starts
